Teamales: like females but with more tea

Because I thought I could only write a blog about the things I knew best, which just so happened to include being British and having a vagina. So here we are, a (rather dinky) platform for me to talk every Monday about feminism, kicking ass and how the world would be a better place if run by Cleo Wade.  Plus – between discussing global issues – I want to find people who share my unnatural obsession for prepping veg. I am currently doubting whether you exist.

So, pull up a chair – not that one, that’s mine – and help yourself to a slice of cake while I stick the kettle on. Two sugars? While you wait for your cuppa why not browse the stunning artwork of my real life princess logo designer Courtney Myers who can be found (everywhere basically) Tumblr: http://www.courtneycreates.tumblr.com or Instagram: @CourtneyCreates or Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/courtneysummermyers

Hey Courtney, thanks for following me! I nominated you for the Free Spirit Award but you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to. 🙂 I enjoyed reading your posts and your interesting takes on feminism. I took a WGS class last semester and I had a lot of fun learning about technofeminism.

Thank you for reading (although sadly I’m not sure who Courtney is, she sounds like she’d make a great alter ego though). I just googled technofeminism and despite being slightly disappointed it’s not the next big girl band it does sound like a really interesting concept. Maybe one to blog about in the future! X

D: I’m so sorry! It’s because I got it messed up with your designer so it’s all my fault. *cries*
Techno feminism is really far-fetched because jobs and the Internet is still very much gendered. It’s very sad because most CEOs are male and women still occupy lower level jobs despite their qualifications.
